Notcoin (NOT) is a community-driven token within the TON (The Open Network) ecosystem that originated from a viral Telegram-based tap-to-earn game. Notcoin utilizes a community-centric issuance model. Unlike many projects that retain large portions of supply for private investors or the core team, Notcoin launched with a significant portion of its supply already earned by its user base.

• Initial Supply and Conversion: At the time of its listing on May 9, 2024, the total and maximum supply of NOT was 102,719,221,714 tokens. In-game Notcoins earned during the mining phase were converted to the on-chain NOT token at a 1,000:1 ratio (e.g., 1,000 in-game coins became 1 NOT).
• Circulating Supply: Upon listing, 100% of the total supply was considered circulating. However, this does not mean all tokens entered immediate trading, as it included airdrops for miners that may not have been fully claimed at the time of launch.
• Inflation Control: Notcoin implements a burning mechanism to manage supply and increase scarcity. Tokens are permanently removed from circulation through various channels, including:
  • Unclaimed tokens from the original Notcoin Clicker game (approximately 210 million NOT).
  • A 10% portion from every pool in the "Notcoin Explore" platform.
  • Community donations and other ecosystem interactions.
  • A significant burn of $3 million worth of NOT was executed to further reduce the total supply to approximately 102.49 billion.

Allocation Mechanism

The distribution of NOT tokens is heavily weighted toward the community and early participants to foster a decentralized ecosystem.

Usage and Incentive Mechanism

The NOT token serves as the primary utility and incentive layer for the Notcoin ecosystem, which has evolved from a simple game into a broader Web3 exploration platform.

• Explore-to-Earn: Users can earn NOT rewards by discovering and interacting with new Web3 products and partner projects through "Notcoin Explore."
• Gaming Platform: NOT is used as a reward and utility token across various Telegram-based games, such as Not Pixel and Lost Dogs.
• Ecosystem Contribution: Users are incentivized to add value to the ecosystem, while Web3 builders can use NOT to launch campaigns and offer their products to the community.
• Staking Rewards: A staking mechanism was introduced to incentivize long-term holders. By staking NOT, users can access more lucrative reward pools and higher tiers (such as Gold and Platinum), which offer increased benefits within the "Explore" platform.

Locking Mechanism and Unlocking Time

Notcoin's approach to locking and unlocking differs from traditional VC-backed projects due to its 100% initial circulating supply.

• Locking Mechanism: There are no traditional "cliff" or "vesting" schedules for the majority of the supply because it was distributed directly to the community. Instead, locking is voluntary and tied to the staking program. Users choose to lock their tokens to increase their "Level" (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), which determines the magnitude of rewards they can earn from ecosystem campaigns.
• Unlocking Time: For voluntary staking, the unlocking period is typically tied to the specific duration of the staking phase chosen by the user. Once a staking period concludes, tokens become accessible again.
• Voucher System: Prior to the official Token Generation Event (TGE), Notcoin utilized a voucher mechanism (NFTs) that allowed users to trade their future token allocations on secondary markets like Getgems. These vouchers were later exchangeable for NOT tokens at the 1,000:1 ratio upon the official launch.
