Kalshi Lands $1B Round, Vaults to $11B Valuation as Prediction-Market Race Heats Up

The post Kalshi Lands $1B Round, Vaults to $11B Valuation as Prediction-Market Race Heats Up appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Kalshi, a U.S.-based prediction market, has closed its $1 billion financing round, which has pushed its valuation to around $11 billion, according to a press release. The latest round was led by Paradigm, with participation from veteran venture capital firms including Sequoia Capital and CapitalG, Alphabet’s growth-equity arm. The news of the raise broke last month, when TechCrunch reported the $1 billion raise. Kalshi, which offers binary event contracts that allow users to trade on outcomes of future real-world events like political races and legislation, overtook its rival Polymarket in Q3, racking up $4.47 billion in trading volume compared to Polymarket’s total of $3.5 bilion, according to TokenTerminal data. “Kalshi is replacing debate, subjectivity, and talk with markets, accuracy, and truth,” said Tarek Mansour, CEO of Kalshi. “We have created a new way of consuming and engaging with information. It’s hard to have an opinion about the future today without thinking about Kalshi.” The company, founded in 2018 and the first U.S.-regulated prediction market, also raised $300 million at a $5 billion valuation in October amid plans to expand globally. Rival Polymarket is also in talks to raise more capital. In October, it was reported that executives were in talks with investors to discuss an investment that would value the company between $12 billion and $15 billion. New Prediction Tool Arrives Inside Trust Wallet

The post New Prediction Tool Arrives Inside Trust Wallet appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Trust Wallet has introduced a new built-in prediction market, allowing users to bet on real-world events directly inside the wallet—no external apps, platforms, or accounts required. The update expands Trust Wallet beyond traditional crypto tools and into the fast-growing world of decentralized prediction markets. The feature is now live in the Predictions tab. Users can browse events, choose outcomes, track price movements, monitor market sentiment, and view final results once markets close. All event markets come from third-party partners integrated into Trust Wallet. At launch, the following platforms are part of the rollout: Myriad on BNB Chain — available to users outside the U.S. Polymarket via Swap.xyz on Polygon Kalshi via Dflow on Solana Current Availability For now, only the Myriad integration is active, with others planned to go live soon. Trust Wallet notes that it does not control event creation, pricing, or outcome logic. All operations are handled fully by the partner platforms. Users do not need separate accounts—Predictions uses assets already stored in their existing Trust Wallet. Regional access may vary, as geoblocking is applied based on each provider’s regulations. Growing momentum in prediction markets The launch comes amid increasing industry attention on prediction markets. As previously reported, crypto giant Coinbase is preparing its own integration with Kalshi, signaling rising demand for decentralized forecasting tools. With more companies investing in this space, Trust Wallet’s new feature positions the platform as an early mover, offering users a streamlined way to engage with event-based markets directly from their mobile wallet. If adoption continues to grow, prediction markets could quickly become a major use case within everyday crypto apps. DFlow has unveiled a groundbreaking development in the realm of prediction markets by launching the DFlow Prediction Markets API. This innovative API is designed to bring Kalshi’s prediction markets onto the Solana (SOL) blockchain, offering full composability, complete market coverage, and native SPL tokens, according to Solana. A New API for Prediction Markets on Solana DFlow, a leading trading infrastructure on Solana, now provides developers with a programmatic method to access tokenized Kalshi markets. This API promises deep liquidity and broad market coverage, leveraging the full potential of onchain assets. It represents the first API to genuinely tokenize Kalshi prediction markets, offering flexible redemption in multiple stablecoins. Prediction markets have long been recognized for their ability to trade beliefs against other traders. With DFlow’s integration, these markets now become integral to the Solana ecosystem, allowing for global scalability and enhanced financial forecasting capabilities. Kalshi: Pioneering Prediction Markets Founded in 2018, Kalshi has been at the forefront of prediction markets, becoming the first federally regulated exchange for trading event outcomes. Approved by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in 2020, Kalshi established legitimacy, attracting institutional participants and enhancing liquidity and utility in a regulated environment. Why Tokenization Matters Tokenization is a significant step forward in financial innovation. By transforming prediction markets into tokens, DFlow enables seamless interaction with other onchain financial systems, promoting interoperability and permissionless innovation. This transformation allows for a broader design space, encouraging creativity within the Solana ecosystem. Once tokenized, these predictions can be used in various DeFi applications, enhancing their utility and integration into new trading architectures. How DFlow Implements…

Kalshi’s Prediction Market Contracts Are Now Tokenized on Solana Blockchain

The post Kalshi’s Prediction Market Contracts Are Now Tokenized on Solana Blockchain appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Kalshi launches tokenized prediction contracts on Solana with $2M builder grants. Platform integrates DFlow and Jupiter for instant USDC settlement transactions. John Wang says liquidity moat combines on-chain and off-chain into one pool. Kalshi announced that its prediction market contracts are now tokenized on the Solana blockchain. The platform launched $2 million in builder grants alongside the integration, with Axiom Exchange as the next partner. The tokenization allows users to trade prediction contracts directly on Solana using the platform’s global liquidity pool. Kalshi introduced Builder Codes that allow anyone to monetize applications built on top of the liquidity pool through DFlow and Jupiter Exchange. Platform Opens Permissionless Application Development Trading terminals, weather sites, and AI agents can now earn fees and rewards based on trading volume generated through their applications. Kalshi stated that the builder program operates permissionlessly, requiring no approval process for developers. John Wang, Head of Crypto at Kalshi, stated that liquidity is the ultimate competitive advantage for any exchange. He claimed that Kalshi is the only prediction market aggregating on-chain and off-chain activity from both U.S. and international sources into a single liquidity pool. The ultimate moat for any exchange is liquidity. Kalshi is the only prediction market in the world that aggregates onchain and offchain, US and international into one giant liquidity pool. Kalshi Launches On-Chain Prediction Markets on Solana Through DFlow

Kalshi Launches On-Chain Prediction Markets on Solana Through DFlow

The post Kalshi Launches On-Chain Prediction Markets on Solana Through DFlow appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Kalshi is deepening its push into crypto as demand for event-driven trading grows. The company introduced on-chain versions of its prediction markets on Solana through a new partnership with DFlow.  The move strengthens Kalshi’s position in a fast-moving sector that now attracts heavy volumes from crypto traders worldwide. Besides, the expansion gives developers new ways to access regulated event markets using tokenized structures that fit directly into Solana’s ecosystem. Tokenized Event Markets Reach Solana Builders The launch centers on the DFlow Prediction Markets API, which brings Kalshi’s markets to Solana through real SPL tokens. DFlow designed the system to mirror traditional prediction contracts while adding DeFi-style flexibility for trading, automation, and liquidity sourcing. Developers can integrate the tokens into any Solana-based application and unlock access to deep markets across politics, macro data, and global events. The API includes full coverage of Kalshi’s catalog, just-in-time routing for stronger execution, and on-chain settlement for valid outcomes. Moreover, builders can use the API to create new interfaces, dashboards, and automated strategies without touching Kalshi’s core exchange. Kalshi believes this approach expands the design space for on-chain forecasting at global scale. Why Kalshi Sees Tokenization as the Endgame The company argues that tokenization unlocks broader liquidity by connecting regulated markets to the wider crypto economy. John Wang, Kalshi’s head of crypto, told CNBC that the goal is clear. He said, “There’s a lot of power users in crypto.” He added, “This is about tapping into the billions of dollars of liquidity that crypto has.” Kalshi offers anonymity for traders who prefer tokenized transfers instead of exchange accounts. This aligns the platform with behavior seen on on-chain competitors. The company expects stronger liquidity because crypto-native users trade faster, scale positions quickly, and respond rapidly to new events. Consequently, Kalshi launched a $2 million grants program…
