HIGHLIGHTS

  • A Fatal Four Way will determine who challenges Drew McIntyre at the Royal Rumble.
  • A grudge match could reshape the WrestleMania pecking order.
  • The women’s tag titles are on the line with major singles implications.

Barring some kind of major update on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the Saturday Night’s Main Event card in Montreal will have just three matches. Perhaps we’ll see a long backstage situation or maybe all three matches will have an extended run time. In any case, here’s the beyond-the-obvious outlook on the next SNME and one of the final layers leading up to the 2026 Royal Rumble.

What’s the Complete Saturday Night’s Main Event Card?

Here’s a breakdown of the three intriguing matches confirmed for the Bell Centre.

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event streams live Saturday, January 24, 2026, from the Bell Centre in Montréal at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock in the U.S.

Undisputed WWE Championship No. 1 Contender Fatal Four Way Randy Orton vs. Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams vs. Sami Zayn

Grudge Match Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY (c) vs. Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez

Beyond the Obvious, What’s At Stake for the Fatal Four Way Match?

It seems as if there are only two logical winners in this match. How would WWE rationalize having Trick Williams or Damian Priest go over in this match? It seems as if it is Sami Zayn or Randy Orton’s turn to shine.

I’m beginning to believe Orton is the one who wins. Zayn seems too obvious of a pick and while he may get his time to reign as a world champion, I can imagine WWE making his fans suffer a bit more.

The match also sets the pecking order for the entire main-event scene coming out of Royal Rumble season. In Montréal, a Zayn win would finally formalize his long-teased world title chase in his hometown, while an Orton or Priest victory keeps Rhodes’ recent rivals in his lane.

Beyond the Obvious, What’s At Stake for the Women’s Tag-Team Title Match?

The tag titles have been successfully elevated, but this match needs to be about more than just the straps. There are too many legit world championship contenders involved on the singles side.

Ripley and IYO SKY are defending the belts in their first major televised defense, so a successful retention begins to legitimize their run as a true power team. For Morgan and Perez, winning would cement Perez as a made player on the main roster and further Morgan’s ongoing spotlight push after her recent work on Raw.

Beyond the Obvious, What’s At Stake in the Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu Match?

This is the one that could truly shift some things around. I’d love to learn that Rhodes was the man behind the attack on Fatu after all and for this to be a story that plays out all year–perhaps culminating in a match at SummerSlam.

Perhaps things go an entirely different direction.

This is Cody’s first televised match since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre, and it’s against the man who indirectly cost him that title. The result will shape whether he’s framed as vulnerable or still the unquestioned top star heading into WrestleMania season. For Fatu, a strong showing against the company’s franchise babyface would fast-track him into permanent main-event contention.

It’ll be interesting to see if Rhodes-Fatu or the Fatal Four Way winds up as the main event. In any case, there’s a great deal that can happen from a storyline perspective with what’s in place with the three matches.

Slate Milk Raises $23 Million Series B Round To Bolster Protein Drink’s Rapid Growth

The post Slate Milk Raises $23 Million Series B Round To Bolster Protein Drink’s Rapid Growth appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Slate Classic Chocolate milk shake Slate A new slate of functional beverages is about to dominate the ready-to-drink shelf, ushering in a more modern era of easily incorporating more protein in our diets. Today, Slate Milk cofounders Manny Lubin and Josh Belinsky reveal the brand has raised a $23 million Series B funding round. Led by Foundership, a new fund by Yasso frozen greek yogurt cofounders Drew Harrington and Amanda Klane, the money will allow Slate to continue its momentum towards ubiquity as it hits 100,000 points of distribution across 20,000 stores nationwide by the end of 2025. Slate also reveals that it is rolling out several line extensions including a 20 gram protein Strawberry milk at Sprouts Farmers Market, a 30 gram protein Cookies & Cream milk at Target, and a 30 gram protein Salted Caramel flavor at Walmart and Albertsons banner stores. New “Ultra” 42 gram protein options in Chocolate, Vanilla and Salted Caramel will also be available in retailers across the country. “Stores where we may have just had our ready-to-drink lattes, now we’re adding our shakes, and vice versa. We’re adding new partners and executing deeper with our existing partners,” Lubin tells me. The impressive growth is due to Slate’s early entry into the high-protein product space slightly before it caught mainstream attention–ready to execute immediately once consumers craved it most. Slate’s macronutrient ratios are practically unbeatable, largely due to the utilization of ultra-filtered milk. It’s a protein drink that writes a new script about who protein drinks are for. “We’re not sons of dairy farmers. We had no milk history,” Lubin says “We’re just a couple of dudes from the burbs of Boston who like chocolate milk.” Slate cofounder Manny Lubin Slate Another Clean Slate Slate’s brand has evolved significantly in just the past six…
