XRP News: Evernorth Reveals Massive Exchange Outflow Ahead of Ripple’s XRP Las Vegas

Evernorth Holdings on Thursday said XRPL’s native coin is witnessing a massive demand from whales and institutions, creating a supply shock. This happens as Ripple sparks XRP Las Vegas buzz, with CEO Brad Garlinhouse and executives from other prominent crypto companies to attend the largest event.

Evernorth Spotlights Low Selling Pressure and Whale Accumulation

In an X post on April 23, Ripple-backed Evernorth Holdings revealed that 7 billion XRP were withdrawn from exchanges amid whale flows turned positive again. This is creating a supply shortage, with the long-term holder base widening.

Moreover, large holders have added almost 11 million XRP per day on average in early April. Also, wallets holding 1K–100K coins have reached 1.1 million, an all-time high.

“When someone plans to sell, they tend to move coins to an exchange. When they plan to hold, they tend to move them off,” it added.

Evernorth Holdings claimed this indicates that two things are currently happening. First, the pool of XRP coins available to sell shrank. Also, holders positioned for long-term accumulation are growing, signaling potential for an XRP price rally.

Meanwhile, Evernorth Holdings inches closer to merger with Armada Acquisition Corp II. It named Ripple CLO Stuart Alderoty among directors as it plans to list on Nasdaq.

Ripple sparked buzz in the XRP Army ahead of XRP Las Vegas. It is the world’s largest XRP conference scheduled for April 30-May 1 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will feature networking, discussions on XRPL innovations, real-world asset tokenization, payments, and DeFi applications.

Popular XRPL validator Vet said the event is interesting for builders, with opportunities to pitch projects and receive funding. “Personally, I always found XRP Vegas interesting because of the people attending” he said.

Notably, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, SVP Jack McDonald, emeritus CTO David Schwartz, Evernorth Holdings CEO Asheesh Birla, Bitwise CEO Matt Hougan, and Franklin Templeton’s Lexi Gunter are among notable speakers and panelists at XRP Las Vegas.
