In celebration of International Women’s Month, “Babae at Kulay” honors the strength, resilience, beauty and boundless contributions of women through art.
A dynamic mix of professional and emerging artists, the participating women from Calabarzon share their perspectives, experiences, and visions through vibrant artworks, proving that women’s voices and creativity deserve center stage.
This special project is presented by the Provincial Board Members League of the Philippines (PBMLP)- Calabarzon in proud collaboration with the Blanco Family Museum/The Blanco Art Gallery.
The initiative is spearheaded by San Mateo, Rizal Board Member John Patrick Bautista, PBMLP Calabarzon president, with project coordination led by Gem Blanco and Provincial Board Member Patnubay Tiamson.
A total of 60 artworks of women artists across Calabarzon will be featured in the exhibit, including Precy de Guzman-Brady, Marivel Mari-Galang, Joy Blanco-Alejandro, Rose Gob, Marie Claire, Gem Yonzon Blanco, and Lucila Gragera.
The venue of the exhibit itself is one of the pride of Angono, Rizal, where the works of the renowned Blanco family of painters, led by the late Jose “Pitok” V. Blanco, may also be seen.
