Binance Adds Opinion Token: Lock BNB, USDC, U, USD1 to Earn

Binance has confirmed the addition of Opinion (OPN) as the 72nd project on its Launchpool platform. The exchange said it will be the first platform to list the token. Spot trading is set to open on March 5, 2026, at 13:00 (UTC).

In its notice, Binance stated that “Any claims to offer the token(s) for sale before the stated timeline are likely to be false advertising.” Users are advised to verify information before making decisions. Farming will run for two days, starting March 3, 2026, at 00:00 (UTC) and ending March 4, 2026, at 23:59 (UTC). During this period, users can lock BNB, USDC, U, and USD1 to receive OPN rewards.

Token Supply and Distribution

Opinion has a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 OPN. Binance will distribute 20,000,000 OPN through Launchpool rewards, equal to 2% of the total supply. The exchange also plans to allocate 15,000,000 OPN to marketing campaigns three months after the token is listed on spot markets.

At the time of listing, 198,500,000 OPN will be in circulation, which represents 19.9% of the total supply. The token will be available on both BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum using the same contract address. Binance stated that there is no listing fee for OPN. Users must complete KYC verification to take part in the farming program.

Trading Pairs and Alpha Transition

Binance will list OPN with several trading pairs, including OPN/USDT, OPN/USDC, OPN/BNB, OPN/U, OPN/USD1, and OPN/TRY. The Seed Tag will apply at launch. The exchange will offer zero maker fees on the OPN/U pair for a limited time starting from the listing date.

Before spot trading begins, OPN will appear on Binance Alpha. Once spot trading opens, the token will be removed from Alpha. Users will be able to transfer their OPN from Alpha accounts to Spot accounts shortly before trading starts.

Farming Structure and Eligibility

Launchpool rewards will be divided across four pools, with 80% allocated to the BNB pool. The remaining rewards will be split among USDC, U, and USD1 pools. Hourly caps apply to each user depending on the pool selected. Rewards are calculated hourly and can be claimed at any time during the farming period.

Participation depends on a user’s country of residence. Users in regions such as the United States, Canada, Japan, Iran, and certain other jurisdictions are not eligible. Binance stated that the list of restricted regions may change over time.

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution

The post Non-Opioid Painkillers Have Struggled–Cannabis Drugs Might Be The Solution appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. In this week’s edition of InnovationRx, we look at possible pain treatments from cannabis, risks of new vaccine restrictions, virtual clinical trials at the Mayo Clinic, GSK’s $30 billion U.S. manufacturing commitment, and more. To get it in your inbox, subscribe here. Despite their addictive nature, opioids continue to be a major treatment for pain due to a lack of effective alternatives. In an effort to boost new drugs, the FDA released new guidelines for non-opioid painkillers last week. But making these drugs hasn’t been easy. Vertex Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for its non-opioid Journavx in January, then abandoned a next generation drug after a failed clinical trial earlier this summer. Acadia similarly abandoned a promising candidate after a failed trial in 2022. One possible basis for non-opioids might be cannabis. Earlier this year, researchers at Washington University at St. Louis and Stanford published a study showing that a cannabis-derived compound successfully eased pain in mice with minimal side effects. Munich-based pharmaceutical company Vertanical is perhaps the furthest along in this quest. It is developing a cannabinoid-based extract to treat chronic pain it hopes will soon become an approved medicine, first in the European Union and eventually in the United States. The drug, currently called Ver-01, packs enough low levels of cannabinoids (including THC) to relieve pain, but not so much that patients get high. Founder Clemens Fischer, a 50-year-old medical doctor and serial pharmaceutical and supplement entrepreneur, hopes it will become the first cannabis-based painkiller prescribed by physicians and covered by insurance. Fischer founded Vertanical, with his business partner Madlena Hohlefelder, in 2017, and has invested more than $250 million of his own money in it. With a cannabis cultivation site and drug manufacturing plant in Denmark, Vertanical has successfully passed phase III clinical trials in Germany and expects…
