The last day of January 2026 is here, and the digital asset market is moving fast. While many people are offline for the weekend, close watchers are tracking price action to spot the next major move. Bitcoin remains stable, but attention is turning toward projects reaching key development points or major deadlines. Funds are rotating quickly as traders position themselves ahead of the new month.

This is a good time to review your holdings and decide which assets still have room to grow. Picking the right project is not easy when prices swing sharply in short periods. We reviewed current data from this Saturday morning to highlight assets showing strong momentum. Finding the top crypto to buy at this moment can make a big difference in this market cycle.

CLARITY Act Advances, Impacting Digital Assets and Regulation

1. BlockDAG: Few Hours Left Before the Price Shift

BlockDAG is currently drawing strong attention across the market for one clear reason. The project has entered the final phase of its presale, with only a few hours left before access closes. Right now, BDAG is available at $0.0005. The team has confirmed a public listing level of $0.05, creating a clear 100x price gap for those who act before the deadline. More than $451 million has already been raised, showing strong participation ahead of launch. With a community exceeding 312,000 holders, demand remains high as this window comes to an end. The urgency is real because this pricing will not return once the presale closes.

Beyond pricing, the system behind BlockDAG (BDAG) adds weight to the discussion. The network uses a hybrid design that focuses on both speed and security, something many older chains struggle to balance. It can handle up to 10,000 transactions per second, reducing congestion that affects other platforms. This capability is why many analysts describe BlockDAG as the top crypto to buy before public trading begins. The project also supports a mobile mining app used by more than 3.5 million people, showing real activity before launch. This is not a future concept. It is a system already in use.

As the presale reaches its final hours, pressure continues to build. Once this phase ends, the chance to convert a small entry into a much larger position disappears. Some market makers believe limited supply could push prices beyond the initial listing level. Activity is increasing as participants move quickly to secure access. Locking in a position now offers a clear edge, which is why many are calling BlockDAG the top crypto to buy as early 2026 approaches.

2. Solana: A New Speed Milestone Draws Attention

Solana is trading close to $125.15 this Saturday, holding firm after a calm week. The main driver of interest today is the unexpected launch of the Alpenglow Testnet Beta. This release marks a key upgrade for the network. It aims to reduce transaction finality to under 150 milliseconds. While the full mainnet rollout is still some time away, developers are already testing the system and sharing feedback. This activity has helped push the price up by 0.3% and sparked positive discussion across social channels. Many market watchers see this as further proof that Solana remains a leader among fast blockchains.

Attention is now shifting away from older upgrades toward what this new version could enable. Traders are watching the $128 level closely, as a break above it could trigger stronger upward movement. Large funds are staying put for now, waiting to see if the testnet performs smoothly. If Solana delivers on near-instant transactions, it could secure its position as a preferred network for financial applications. For those who value steady technical progress, Solana continues to look like a top crypto to buy for long-term growth.

3. Hyperliquid: Momentum Builds After Volume Breakthrough

Hyperliquid is showing strong momentum this weekend, moving past the $30 mark to trade at $30.45. This reflects a 2.2% rise over the last 24 hours. The platform reached a major milestone today by surpassing the spot trading volume of Kraken, one of the largest centralized exchanges. This means more activity is now taking place on Hyperliquid’s decentralized platform than on a long-established exchange. Growth has been driven by the HIP 3 upgrade, which enables permissionless markets. New pairs are launching daily, drawing in high-risk traders and generating significant fees across the ecosystem.

Interest in Hyperliquid is growing because it is changing how trading platforms operate. It is moving beyond a simple exchange model and evolving into a broader global market. Staking HYPE now offers yields close to 24% due to high volume, which is attracting additional demand. Market makers are actively supporting the $30 level, suggesting this move is backed by real use rather than hype alone. For those following breakout platforms, Hyperliquid is increasingly viewed as a top crypto to buy in the current market.

4. Cardano: Community Control Sparks Renewed Energy

Cardano is showing renewed strength after a long quiet period. The price has climbed 4.2% today to around $0.58, outperforming many large projects. The key driver is the completion of the Voltaire governance vote. As of today, Cardano is now fully governed by its community, marking an important step in decentralization. This achievement has restored confidence among long term supporters who stayed patient during slower periods. The market reaction suggests renewed belief in the project’s direction.

Adding to the momentum are growing talks around the Midnight privacy sidechain. Many expect a snapshot for an upcoming airdrop in February. This has encouraged people to stake ADA to ensure eligibility for the potential reward. The added demand is pushing prices higher as participants prepare. With a major governance milestone completed and the possibility of a bonus ahead, Cardano is regaining attention as a strong option.

Closing View

The final day of January 2026 presents clear paths for different market styles. Solana is reinforcing its technical edge with new speed improvements. Hyperliquid is rewriting volume records and challenging older exchanges. Cardano is energizing its base through governance control and airdrop speculation. Still, BlockDAG stands apart due to its clear 100x structure. The presale math remains simple, and the remaining time is extremely limited.

For anyone aiming to make a meaningful shift in their financial outlook, the contrast is clear. While other projects may deliver steady progress, BlockDAG offers a rare expansion opportunity. With over $451 million raised, only 600 million coins left, and just a few hours remaining at $0.0005 before the $0.05 listing, timing matters. Securing access before the final cutoff provides a clear edge. BlockDAG continues to stand out as the top crypto to buy before this phase ends and the market moves forward.

‘Alien Earth’ Composer Jeff Russo Dives Into Score For FX Series

The post ‘Alien Earth’ Composer Jeff Russo Dives Into Score For FX Series appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. FX’s Alien: Earth — Pictured: Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh. Courtesy of Patrick Brown/FX The following contains certain spoilers for Alien: Earth! When it came time to marry picture and music for FX’s Alien: Earth, series creator Noah Hawley did what he’s done for close to 20 years: call up Jeff Russo. “[He] said, ‘I’m adapting the Alien IP, for television. What do you think, musically?’” Russo recalls over Zoom. “We started talking and I began writing music for it. It seemed like…not a foregone conclusion, but a conversation that was being had.” A founder of Tonic and a previous member of Low Stars, the composer has scored all of Hawley’s film and television projects since The Unusuals (2009). “Everything I’ve learned about making music for storytelling, I learned by doing with him,” Russo adds. “He really knows what he wants. And when you have a confident filmmaker that is also open to artistic collaboration, it’s the best of all the worlds.” The first small screen translation of the nearly 50-year-old franchise known for straddling horror, sci-fi, and action genres, Alien: Earth takes place two years before the events of the 1979 original and nearly six decades before Aliens. “We talk a lot about trying to figure out what the underlying property is making our audience feel,” Russo explains. “Trying to create a unique narrative and way of telling the story, but at the same time, making the audience feel that same feeling. In this case, there’s that feeling of dread. There’s that tense, eerie feeling created with such a deft hand in Alien. And then [came Aliens, which was] such a great action piece. So how are we going to take those two ideas and sort of mix them together, have that be something unique and different, while eliciting the…
